With digital signage being a key component in overall strategy, Coloredge is making great strides in being a complete visual solutions provider. This was never more evident than in the recent attendance of the Digital Signage Expo 2012 in Las Vegas, NV.
Creative Services demonstrated its’ convergence of print and digital media both on and off the Expo floor. At the invitation of digital signage partner, YCD Multimedia, Coloredge created content for the LG booth at the Las Vegas Conference Center. Bill Pearce, Head of Interactive, designed several dynamic installations that appeared on 2×2 and 3×3 video walls. “Greetings from New York City”, an homage to vintage postcards, was an eye catching Flash animation that lit up LG’s 46 inch ultra slim bezel displays. Additionally, informative content outlining Coloredge’s partnership with YCD looped on the walls, educating clients and competitors of the recent significant move.
Social Media was a very integral part of DSE 2012. Coloredge seized the opportunity to announce their presence by live tweeting from the conference. Highlighting the top Tweets from the Expo, X2O Media presented its “Twitter Shuffle” – Coloredge continuously came up on top of their video wall. (see top right corner)
In addition to the digital media presented on the floor of the Expo, Coloredge hosted a hospitality suite at the LVH, forming new relationships with clients and vendors. Colleen Ashley, an Associate Art Director, designed an invitation featuring a QR code, that when scanned, it would link to a website with the address of the reception. Taking it a step further, she wrote all the copy for the site, highlighting all of Coloredge’s services.
Upon arriving, people were invited to learn about Coloredge’s full solution offering while wine and light appetizers were served. The room was decorated to showcase Coloredge’s capabilities and materials. Brett Chronerberry, the Creative Director of LA, and Colleen Ashley skillfully branded the room by creating bold banners in Coloredge orange. To make the suite a truly unique experience, there was an elaborate digital media presentation being projected into the back corner of the suite presenting a visual portfolio of Coloredge’s full range of capabilities. Furthermore, taking advantage of Comp24’s superior comping and prototypes, an original translucent orange binder was built specifically for the occasion featuring the extensive services Coloredge offers. Being an impressive conversation piece, more than a few guests requested to keep it or get their own.
The Digital Signage Expo was attended by over 4,000 industry professionals and had 180 exhibitors, showing the newest and most ground breaking technology. Proving to be a huge success, the conference exemplified the entire solution package Coloredge is currently providing clients. From graphic design and traditional print to interactive and comping, Coloredge is clearly on the forefront of all media solutions.
