The world of The Simpsons truly came to life at the party for The Simpsons 500th episode at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, California this past weekend. The event was produced by russell harris EVENT GROUP with Coloredge creating the graphics and signage. The evening was a festive affair with over 1,200 guests celebrating Matt Groening’s hilarious animated family from Springfield with music, games, and of course, a screening of the 500th episode (airing this Sunday on Fox).
To kick off the event, celebrity guests graced the yellow carpet backed by the 40 foot Coloredge produced step and repeat. Once inside, guests were greeted by Simpsons-themed guest check-in signs, Simpson’s character standees, and 500th Episode display pieces; including a large 500th Episode sign that was hung from the 120 year old iconic Roosevelt Hotel chandelier, all produced by Coloredge.
Coloredge was also responsible for the game façades in the upstairs Simpson’s themed game room, as well as the whimsical cabaret lampshades that were embellished with the Simpson’s 500th episode logo.
The event was well received by Simpsons’ fans and Hollywood elite alike, and was the perfect atmosphere to celebrate 23 years of Simpsons’ success!
