The slime was flowing at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center Saturday, March 31st, covering stars from Glee’s Chris Colfer to Justin Bieber! But before anyone could get covered in the infamous green goop, or take home an iconic orange blimp, russell harris EVENT GROUP with graphics provided by Coloredge helped create the step & repeat for the pre-show beach party, and the “Nickelodeon Style Stop” for hair, make-up, and colorful nails to get kids of all ages pumped up for Saturday’s show.
Friday’s “Kid’s Choice Awards Family Beach Day” included Coloredge produced life-sized surfboards that kids could color and decorate to their liking set up near the Santa Monica pier. Families also enjoyed Nickelodeon and Sketchers themed games while getting their tan on at the Santa Monica Beach.
On the day of the event, kid’s were treated to a custom spa called ”Nickelodeon Style Stop” where they could pick out numerous zany hair and nail styles in order to be properly decked out for the show. A “Bling station” with accessories for boys and girls alike rounded out the “spa” atmosphere. Coloredge provided the station signage as well as window and mirror clings to decorate the space.
By the time Katy Perry was hitting the orange carpet, fans were revved up for the show to begin. We had a great time at this event and hope you did too!
