GENERATION WEALTH BY LAUREN GREENFIELD LOS ANGELES, CA
American artist and photographer Lauren Greenfield had her new book, “Generation Wealth,” come to life at The Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles. For the past 25 years Greenfield has documented the country’s feelings towards money and status. The exhibit draws on several bodies of her work to examine how wealth influences our culture, and how being materialistic has become the norm. This showcase by Greenfield is not directly about the rich and upper class, but more about our yearning to show off what we have.
The exhibit, on display from April 8th to August 13th, features 195 color prints, 42 first-person interviews, slide shows and captivating short films. Coloredge produced and installed all graphics for the exhibit, for an interactive installation created to complement it, and for the exterior graphics surrounding the Museum, which you can see from a distance, day or night.
